Lovingly restored and thoughtfully updated, the barn blends rustic character with understated modern touches. As a dry hire venue, it offers you the freedom to dream big — whether you're planning an intimate wedding, a wild celebration, or a family gathering. Not only that but we also encourage the use of Wick Bottom Barn for workshops, pop-up events and music events.

OUR STORY
Wick Bottom Barn has always been a special place. First a working farm building, then a much-loved venue, and now — after an extensive renovation and extension it's ready for its next chapter.
Our aim was simple: to keep everything you loved, and gently elevate the rest. We’ve preserved the spirit, the soul, and the views (of course), while introducing subtle improvements to make hosting here even more seamless.

We’re a small team with a big love for this barn. Some of us have grown up here; others have chosen it as the place to bring people together.
What we all share is a genuine commitment to making every event here feel personal, relaxed, and entirely yours.
The result? A barn that feels like home, but hosts like a dream.
Firstly, huge thank you to Karen, Kat, Ivo and team. They were so helpful and friendly along our journey from start to finish. Could not have asked for more. We really hope to stay in touch. The Father of Bride had been involved in the renovation project, which made the venue even more special to us.
Wick Bottom Barn is a fabulous venue, whereby we were given the flexibility of choosing everything (including suppliers) and tailoring it to our requirements. This was even more important with a young baby in tow. By choosing Wick Bottom Barn as your venue, you are not on a convoy belt instead you are treated as individuals. Very little commercialism is felt.
We both highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for uniqueness, exclusivity and flexibility. Thank you once to the Wick Bottom Barn team.

It was a wonderful day, the blank canvas of the barn allowed us to add the special touches that we wanted to include in our day. Our guests commented on the beautiful grounds, and our vendors were appreciative of all the thoughtful touches that you have considered in the design of the barn such as ample kitchen space, lots of plugs, store room behind the bar, it really was everything we needed!
Thank you for all of your help and kindness among our chaos. Wickbottom barn will remain a cherished place for years to come!

Couldn't have wished for more. The venue delivered exactly what we wanted. We added a stretch tent to accommodate more guests and it worked perfectly.
